AIM OF THE WEBINAR

Data is at the core of digital transformation. To accelerate digital transformation and ensure European businesses remain fit to achieve their ambitions, the EU is currently working on two path-breaking strategies – the EU Data Strategy and the Industrial Strategy. As the European Cloud Community plays a significant role in both of these strategies, it is important to know how the community sees its role in them. To this end, the H-CLOUD webinar on 23 June 2020 16:00 – 17:30 CET aims to give the European Cloud Community the opportunity to provide their view on the priorities to implement the EU Data Strategy and Industrial Strategy. Our webinar will give you an overview of both strategies and offer you the unique opportunity to share your view with representatives of the European Commission and the community. BEFORE THE WEBINAR

To prepare for the webinar, please take some time to participate in our H-CLOUD Survey “The Role of Cloud Computing in the EU Data Strategy”. Aim of the survey is to gather cloud stakeholders’ strategic insights on the role of cloud computing, and cloud federation in particular, in the realisation of the EU Data Strategy. H-CLOUD welcomes survey responses from any stakeholders of this strategy: cloud solution providers, cloud technologies consultants, cloud solutions adopters and users, digital solutions adopters and users. The survey will only take 15-20 minutes of your time, depending on your answers, it is anonymous and the outcomes will be published in August. The survey is running until 30 June 2020. Some of the survey questions will be discussed during the webinar.
