Join us for the next installment of Open Research Webinars, a series presenting software research projects that are helping to shape the future of open source software and the IT industry. What are the opportunities for synergizing open source and research? Follow our webinars for a brief introduction to the wide range of possibilities.
This webinar series is co-organized by OW2 and the Eclipse Foundation and the next webinar is on Tuesday, June 1st at 16:00 CET.
It features presentations of Eclipse BaSyx, middleware for Industry 4.0 and Fasten, an Intelligent Package Management framework.
About Eclipse BaSyx:
Eclipse BaSyx is the open source platform for next generation automation. It implements key concepts defined by Platform Industrie 4.0, such as the Asset Administration Shell and standardized digital twin. Eclipse BaSyx provides common and re-useable off-the shelf components and SDKs (Java, C# and C++) that support the implementation of new Industrie 4.0 software components to enable rapid development of Industrie 4.0 solutions.
FASTEN develops an intelligent software package management framework that enhances robustness and security in software ecosystems by addressing the issues of operational and compliance risks generated by dependencies. FASTEN will support the Java, Python and C languages and will be integrated to the main package managers Pypi and Maven.
